About Us
The Sorrel Horse is a community-owned, family-run country pub housed in a charming Grade II listed building. Serving traditional pub food and many locally sourced drinks as well as international brands, we aim to provide something for everyone in a comfortable and homely setting.
A pub for the community
As a family-friendly and dog-friendly establishment, we welcome everybody at the Sorrel Horse. With a selection of games available to play including the iconic Bar Billiards table (a piece of local history!) we aim to create an environment in which all visitors can relax over a plate of food or a refreshing drink with family and friends alike.
Spaces and events
We regularly host music events including live singers, open mic nights and karaoke evenings. Our outside space on the pightle is perfect for sunny days and our bright barn is available for private hire. We have lots of plans for future events including kids' cinema clubs, meal and movie evenings, bingo, quizzes and maybe a theme night or two!
